Stern Pinball Expands Team
Appoints Tim Morrison as Technical Service Engineer, Julia Mistele as Senior Staff Accountant, Dave Hegge as Game Software Tester and Technician, and Kyle Spiteri as Technical Support Engineer
CHICAGO, IL – July 25, 2023 – Stern Pinball, Inc. (SPI) announced the appointments of Tim Morrison as Technical Service Engineer, Julia Mistele as Senior Staff Accountant, Dave Hegge as Game Software Tester and Technician, and Kyle Spiteri as Technical Support Engineer as part of our organizational commitment to investing in all processes of our rapidly growing business.
Tim graduated with an Associates Degree in Electronics and brings with him over 25 years experience in the industry. Having worked at Namco repairing arcade games in the shop, Tim moved up through the ranks becoming logistics manager, merchandise manager, parts manager and ultimately the head of support. Tim will be instrumental in helping customers with their games in addition to drafting how-to manuals for future support.
With extensive experience in taxes, payroll, financial reporting, and audits, Julia’s track record of delivering accurate and detail-oriented work makes her an excellent addition to our organization. Julia has gained valuable experience at companies such as LRS-Lakeshore Recycling Systems, L&H Company, The Joint Commission, and Jewel-Osco. Her recent role at LRS-Lakeshore Recycling Systems showcased her proficiency in handling complex financial tasks, particularly in asset accounting and discrepancy reconciliation. Julia holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting & Financial Management & Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, along with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University. Her expertise in taxes, compliance, and audit support will be instrumental as we continue to expand and grow at Stern Pinball.
With a lifelong love for pinball, Dave will bring his expertise as one of the greatest competitive pinball players of all time to the software team. Dave will be testing game software and as a pinball technician at Logan Arcade and other locations around the Chicagoland area for over 20 years, will bring that technical knowledge through the development process of all Stern pinball games moving forward.
Kyle has over a decade of technical experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge on many different pinball systems and games to his new position in the technical services department. This includes working with the 1000+ game collection at the Pacific Pinball Museum as well as operating his own collection of games. Kyle has also worked for long time Stern distributor Pinball Pirate, repairing games and doing house calls; and most recently held a position at Marco Specialties where he was a producer and the host of “Pintech Live”, a livestreaming pinball repair show teaching basic pinball maintenance as well as advanced diagnostics and repairs. In his spare time, Kyle is an avid record collector and enjoys attending concerts, wrangling his 4 cats, playing strategy and management games on his computer and traveling with his wife Eska.
“Stern is committed to investing in all facets of our business both external and internal. We’re excited for the immediate positive impact Tim, Julia, Dave, and Kyle will bring to the Stern team as well as our customers,” said Seth Davis, President and CEO of Stern Pinball, Inc.
